My Professional Experience

As an experienced British Gymnastics Affiliated Club Coach and a qualified Physiotherapist, I have accumulated 19 years of coaching experience and over a decade of service in the NHS. This combination of skill sets enables me to ensure the health, safety, and skill development of all the young gymnasts under my guidance.

Unique Approach

My mission is not only to teach gymnastics but also to foster confidence, friendships, and a healthy lifestyle from an early age. The teaching methods involve a fun and engaging environment, encouraging parental participation. Using tools such as Makaton, songs, nursery rhymes, and creative imagination, the sessions are designed to be not just instructive, but also full of joy and excitement.

Community Building

Besides fostering physical skills and mental growth, the club is intended to serve as a meeting point for parents and caregivers, providing them with the opportunity to form a supportive network. We promote a community where after each session, parents and caregivers can share experiences, support each other and strengthen their bond over a cup of tea.

My Journey and Goals

My passion for gymnastics began at the age of 4, I continued through the program to become a competitive gymnast and achieved British titles. My aim is to instil this same passion in your child and highlight the benefits and fun of physical fitness. Gymnastics offers many transferable skills that lay the foundation for fitness and health, fostering a love for this sport that carries numerous benefits.

Benefits of Gymnastics

Gymnastics promotes comprehensive physical development, boosting strength, agility, flexibility, balance, and coordination. It fosters fine and gross motor skills in children, helping to enhance their cognitive abilities. Additionally, it cultivates self-confidence, perseverance, and discipline. Importantly, it encourages an early love for an active lifestyle, setting the foundation for a future of fitness, all while being a source of fun and fostering lifelong friendships.
